hope, hopelessness, constant relentless hope towing the inevitable, builds, builds, releases, celebrates the eternal human struggle, the mono no aware, releases, rebuilds and brings in banjo. the banjo, an instrument that constantly attempts to sound beautiful but simply cannot because of it's short awkward build. an instrument when perfectly played sounds like a chicken with a broken wing. slowly chugs and builds, but as it builds, the train disappears around the mountain. we are left with the sounds of a train whistle somewhere beyond the curve of rock and trees.
